Yüksel Akay Ltd. began operating in the optician’s profession in 1988 with the “Girne Çarşı Akay Optik” store. Shortly thereafter, it expanded its services by adding watchmaking, founder Yüksel Akay’s father’s profession, to its diversified portfolio, including watch imports, service, and sales. In 2003, it expanded its operations with a multi-brand approach with its “Girne Merkez” building on Mete Adanır Street. Later, it acquired the TRNC distributorship of Swarovski and Swatch jewelry, watches, and eyewear, two well-known and preferred global brands. This expanded its portfolio and services. In

its imported products and services, it aims to offer its customers and consumers up-to-date products, quality standards, and leading European brands, along with reliable, high-quality, fast service, accessible local pricing, and after-sales service. With this purpose and objective, we closely monitor fashion trends, current and latest seasonal products launched in Europe, and professional and technological developments. We import, present, sell, and provide after-sales service.
